The tranquil immediate area is a haven for wonderful bird life such as buzzards bull finches green finches blue tits great tits and many more which can be found in either the field opposite or Ashcliffe forest which the property overlooks which is ideal for keen walkers or just a general stroll in the summer evenings. An interesting feature can be viewed at the property as it is the home of the National Poultry Championship a winning flock of White Wyandottes (bantam-chickens). There is much to see and explore as well as being able to enjoy a popular pub within a 10 minute level walk. The East Devon beaches are a short drive and offer a range of sheltered coves and sandy beaches with the Jurassic Coastline also being a short drive. There are attractions to suit all tastes and these include the historic regional City of Exeter with its shops pubs restaurants cinema theatre and leisure activities Crealy Devon Bicton Park numerous National Trust properties and gardens and much more. In the evenings enjoy a relaxing glass of wine with a BBQ on the enclosed patio area with views. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers ONE double bedroom area approached via open cottage style stairs with en-suite bathroom with corner bath shower over and WC. Downstairs offers a farmhouse style kitchen/diner with cooker washing machine fridge/freezer and microwave. Lounge with double sofa bed electric coal effect fire TV DVD and Freeview. Wi-fi available. Enclosed patio with seating.Off-road parking. Bed linen electric towels and central heating included. Additional electric heating. Ready inflatable bed is available for children aged 8 and under.
